    Hi,
Are you dehydrating your own foods at home yet? Now is the time to start or continue to build your dehydrated food supply.

What do you need to do to start?
    1) a good dehydrator! We use and recommend Excalibur, Sedona and TSM stainless steel food dehdyrators. You can ask us any questions about them.
    2) storage for your dehydrated food- I use and recommend mylar bags (sizes 8"x10" and 10"x14"). I also use gl*** jars and reuse gl*** spagetti jars. Don't forget your oxygen absorber! These will keep your foods bacteria- free.
    3) a good vacuum sealer! I use and recommend food saver vacuum sealer, but there are lots of great options out there.
    4) a place to put your dehydrated food- out of sunlight and heat. I recommend a cool, dry basement. I have mine in a tall, locking cabinet in our basement.
    5) Start building your supply today. Don't forget your rice, grains, cereal, fruit, meat, milk, cheese, eggs and chicken. This could be a real life saver!

I am Stephanie @ EfoodDehydrator.com, and I welcome your questions. Thank you!
